Executive Collaboration

Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of the Haub Executive MBA, providing an exceptional instructional and learning platform. Each semester, you are assigned to a different team to amplify your learning through collaboration with your executive peers and through our one-of-a-kind Haub CEO Experience.

Working in a team context not only refines and hones your interpersonal skills, but it presents you with different points of view from which to examine business situations. To put collaborative learning into practice, teams take on a local business or non-profit organization as a semester-long service project. Guided by expert faculty, you’ll be able to apply your learning directly to fielding solutions for business issues in real-world organizations. These service projects also reflect our Jesuit values – using education and knowledge as a means of contributing to a common good.

The CEO Experience is collaborative learning at the highest level. Five times each semester our Executive MBA students engage with leading CEOs in “Live Interventions.” These are real-life case studies presented by real CEOs. Your team will have the opportunity to develop strategies and examine solutions with the benefit of face-to-face discussion and guidance from CEOs. Recent participants have included Philadelphia Suburban Water, Virtua Health, Commerce Bank, Philadelphia School District, PSE&G, SEI Investments, Wawa, and Shore Memorial Hospital.

Enabling collaboration at every step are the state-of-the-art facilities in Mandeville Hall. From our completely “wired” building and Wall Street trading room, to our advanced audiovisual capabilities and trademarked Moot Boardrooms, technology is an important driver of our collaborative course structure.
