Welcome to the Master of Science in Marketing Program

Welcome to the Master of Science in Marketing program at Saint Joseph's University. Our graduate program provides you with the tools, theory, and practical knowledge to advance your career. The core curriculum is designed to develop essential marketing competency in consumer behavior, analytics, research and strategy. Two specializations allow you to align your degree with your professional goals: choose from International Marketing or Customer Analytics and Insights

Students will begin their journey by taking five core classes:

  • Marketing Strategy
  • Cultures and Consumers
  • Research in Marketing
  • Marketing Analytics
  • Marketing elective

Students will then move into their focus area of International Marketing or Customer Analytics and Insights and complete five specialized courses to earn their degree.

The Master of Science in Marketing degree is delivered within the Haub School of Business, which holds dual AACSB International accreditation, placing it in the top 5% of business programs in the world. You can complete the program on a part-time or full-time basis, and classes are offered online and on campus. What’s more, our staff, faculty, and students are united in the Jesuit ideal of cura personalis, care for the whole person, and are dedicated to helping you succeed in the classroom as well as in life.

Both business and non-business graduates are encouraged to apply. Non-business majors are required to complete the following four prerequisite courses in addition to the ten courses for their degree completion:

  • Principles of Marketing
  • Financial Accounting
  • Managerial Economics
  • Introduction to Finance
