The Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) is offered within the Haub School of Business, making it the only Philadelphia-area graduate program to be both AACSB-accredited and CFP®-certified. Whether you are just starting, or are already established as a financial planner, analyst, or in corporate finance, you can earn your advanced credentials in as little as 20 months without interrupting your career or your life. Our industry-specific MSFS program consists of ten 3-credit courses across a variety of disciplines, including accounting, law and ethics, actuarial studies, security analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning. This innovative program is designed to broaden your understanding while deepening your knowledge in specific areas of finance, and to prepare you for professional certification*. |
The MSFS format is based on four semesters per year, including two accelerated summer sessions. Flexible evening and Saturday courses are offered on campus and online.
*Saint Joseph's University does not certify individuals - CFP® certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience and examination requirements. |
