What is a periodical?
A periodical is a publication that is published in regular intervals. Journals, magazines, and newspapers are all periodicals.

The Libraries at Saint Joseph's University provide access to thousands of periodicals:

  •  ~27,000 in electronic format: referred to as e-journals
  •  ~  2,400 in print
  •  ~     500 in microform (film or fiche)
