You can register online by following the directions below:
Go to 
Enter username and password (if you cannot remember your password, click on the "forget password?") and follow the instructions.
Once you have successfully logged onto mySJU:
- click on My Courses
- In the Registration and Advising channel, click on Check Registration Status; check to see if you have holds that will prevent registration
- click on Look Up Classes to search for courses
- once you have decided what courses you would like to register for write down the CRNs
- now click on add/Drop Courses
- select term for which you wish to enroll
- enter alternate PIN
If you are a Day Arts & Science major, a Freshman or Sophomore Day Business major or a Day Management major then your pin number must be obtained from your Academic advisor.
If you are a Graduate student or College of Professional & Liberal Studies student you DO NOT need an alternate PIN
- enter the CRN (course reference number) of the class you wish to register for
- hit SUBMIT
If ALL courses have been registered successfully a message will appear next to each course WEB REGISTERED.
If not all courses were registered successfully an ERROR message will appear with one of the following messages:
Closed Course (Closed Section)
Course is closed. Registration requires approval. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Closed X-Listed (X-List Closed)
Course is listed under two different CRN's (course reference numbers) for which the total enrollment in both CRN’s has closed the course. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Reserved Closed (Reserve Closed)
Course enrollment limit has been reached for your level. Example: Undergraduate day student trying to register for Undergraduate evening course – the number of day students enrolled has been reached its limit and the remaining available seats are for undergraduate evening students. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Pre-Requisite Error (Preq/Test Score Error)
Another class is required to be completed prior to enrolling in this course. Check course catalog to view pre-requisite required or click on the CRN of the course to view. Registration requires approval. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Link Error (L1 or A1 Link Req)
Registration of lecture and lab section is required. Registering for one without the other will result in this error.
Level Restriction
Registration of this course is restricted to either day students, evening students or graduate students. Registration requires approval. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Major Restriction
This course is only available to students in a particular major. Registration requires approval. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Class Restriction
This course is only available to students in a particular class. Registration requires approval. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Co-Requisite Error (Co-Req Required)
Requires another course to be registered in addition to the one attempted. Registration requires approval. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
Time Conflict
Registration has been attempted where two courses are meeting at the same time or are overlapping in meeting time. Please consult with your advisor or the Department Chairperson for the course.
