Organizational Learning & Leadership Office
The mission of the Organizational Learning & Leadership Office at Saint Joseph's University is to be a channel of learning and professional development for faculty and staff in support of the University's strategic planning objectives.  The University is committed to the personal and professional development of each employee.  Upholding Saint Joseph University's mission of love of learning and of the highest intellectual and professional achievement, we hope to provide continuous opportunities to grow, learn and develop together as a community.

The Organizational Learning & Ignatian Leadership Office is designed to assist you in a number of ways to help you and your department reach your highest potential.  Below are programs to help you and your team grow and learn:

SJU Ignatian Leadership Program

The Ignatian Leadership Program is designed to cultivate leadership skills among Saint Joseph's employees that are based on Ignatian ideals.  For more information about the ILP or how to participate in the next cohort, call Karin Botto at 610-660-1258.

SJU Management Training Program I

The SJU Management Training Program I is designed to educate employees on key management topics related to our mission, diversity, planning and budgeting, employee performance, legal issues and managing change. Individuals who complete a series of six workshops in two years will receive the certificate of participation.  For more information about ucoming workshops, log into MySJU ( ), click on the School Services tab and select Enroll for Employee Training under Employee Services.

SJU Campus Workshop Series for Faculty & Staff

Training topics range from Jesuits on...Discernment and Myers Briggs Type Indicator to Business Writing and Cross Cultural Communications.  Seminars are designed to introduce employees to new skills and techniques.  Participants will have the opportunity to interact with other members of the community in this rich learning environment. Is there a topic you would like facilitated for the campus community?  Email your ideas to  To register for a session in the Campus Workshop Series, log into MySJU ( ).  Click on the School Services Tab.  In the Employee Services Box, select Enroll in Employee Training and register for a workshop.

Information Technology Training Workshops

Information Technology provides hands-on computer workshops for Saint Joseph's University faculty and staff. All classes are held in the Training Facility located in BL35 on the lower level of the Barbelin building.
