NAE '10

Los Angeles, CA

SJU Campus Ministry will work with Dolores Mission Parish and Homeboy Industries in the Boyle Heights Neighborhood of Los Angeles. Students will spend their time learning about issues of poverty, gang violence, and understanding the value of community and the power of love. As Fr. Greg Boyle SJ (founder of Homeboy Industries) says, "Kinship– not serving the other, but being one with the other. Jesus was not “a man for others”; he was one with them. There is a world of difference in that." we will learn the value of being with others!

Trip Dates for 2016 are May 16-May 23, 2016!
