Youth Education
 After school  Volunteers provide tutoring, recreation, and friendship as they serve as positive role models to the children of various communities. A service commitment of one two-hour period a week per semester is required. Transportation is provided where needed.

ESL Program:

A conversation group for students learning English through Saint Joe's ESL (English as a Second Language) program.  
   
Gesu Gesu Elementary:

An after school program which involves tutoring and playing with Student volunteers tutor and play with
inner-city children from the Gesu School, ages preschool to 7th grade, any afternoon, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 to 5:30pm.

Gompers After School

Program at Samuel Gompers elementary school where volunteers assist with the after school program.  Any day Mon-Thurs 3-5:30 PM.

Holy Name

Holy Name:

An after school reading and tutoring program nworking with children in the Latino community in Camden, NJ. 

Any day, Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 5:30 PM. Transportation provided.

Methodist Services

Methodist Services:

An after school program involving tutoring and recreational activities with grammar school age children.

Any afternoon, Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Dream Camp Afterschool Program at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Southwest Philadelphia.  As a mentor you will be matched with a small group of Philadelphia elementary or middle school students and provide homework help and literacy enrichment.  Interview/resume required.  Monday or Wednesday from 2:30 to 6:00 PM.

Breakthrough (formerly Summerbridge): As a volunteer, you will teach one class of 8-12 students, assist students in completing school assignments and projects, and support the overall program during special trips.  Volunteer Tuesday OR Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00 PM.
