What is  BEAGLE?

The BEAGLE  Program is a four-day, intensive program for incoming freshman Biology, Chemical Biology & Environmental Science majors at Saint Joseph’s University.         

The goals of the program are to:

• help students make the transition to college-level academics          

• help students develop effective study skills      

• introduce students to the pace and rigor of college-level science classes 

• introduce students to faculty and successful students             


When is BEAGLE?

BEAGLE 2015 runs from August 18th- 21st.  Check out the 2014 BEAGLE Schedule to see what is in store for you as a BEAGLE Participant.


How do I apply to BEAGLE?

Applications are available for BEAGLE 2015 beginning in May.  Priority deadline for BEAGLE is June 1st.  After you have been accepted, you will receive your acceptance email and information to complete your online payment for BEAGLE ($300) and formalize your BEAGLE participation.  Payment includes program costs as well as BIO 101 Textbook and clicker for class participation.  Limited Financial Aid is available.
