What is BEAGLE?
The BEAGLE Program is a four-day, intensive program for incoming freshman Biology, Chemical Biology & Environmental Science majors at Saint Joseph’s University.
The goals of the program are to:
• help students make the transition to college-level academics
• help students develop effective study skills
• introduce students to the pace and rigor of college-level science classes
• introduce students to faculty and successful students
When is BEAGLE?
BEAGLE 2016 runs from August 16th-19th. Check out the 2015 BEAGLE Schedule to see what is in store for you as a BEAGLE Participant.
How do I apply to BEAGLE?
Applications are available for BEAGLE 2016 beginning June 1st. After June 1st, the BEAGLE application can be accessed here. Priority deadline for BEAGLE is July 6th. After you have been accepted, you will receive your acceptance email and information to complete your online payment for BEAGLE ($300) and formalize your BEAGLE participation. Payment includes program costs as well as BIO 101 Textbook and clicker for class participation. Limited Financial Aid is available.
Resident students enrolled in the BEAGLE program will live in the Science Residential Learning Community in LaFarge Hall.
