Holistic health is critically important to your success here at SJU. Take time to focus on your mental, physical and spiritual health by attending any of the amazing events we have planned for you. You can also engage online by searching #SJUwellnessweek on any social media site that utilizes hashtags. Feel free to ask questions of us through this hashtag as well.
All Fitness Classes offered through Campus Recreation located in O'Pake Rec Center are FREE!! This includes Zumba, Yoga and Better Body Boot Camp and Red Hot Dance Fitness. Try out each of the classes before making the decision to register for the semester! Each class is $50 for the 12 weeks of the semester; 2 classes for $75. 12:15-1:15pm : Is Drinking In Your Job Description?
Created for upperclassmen who are beginning internships or about to enter the work force after graduation, this workshop discusses the culture of alcohol in the workplace. From happy hours to holiday parties, at times it can not be avoided but utilizing it to your benefit and avoiding the pitfalls that come with its use will be important for your career. Bring your lunch and engage with us in this interactive workshop.
6pm-7pm: Sleepless in SJU with Dr. Jodi Mindell
Discover secrets to sleeping well and learn the benefits of sleep on your mood, your brain and your ability to be successful. Dr. Jodi Mindell is a national expert on the topic of sleep and we are lucky to have her here on campus to speak to us about this important topic. This is open to all campus community members.

11am-1pm: 2nd Annual Wellness Fair

The Wellness Fair is an open invitation to all members of the campus community to learn a bit more about the options available on and off campus to improve their own holistic health. On campus departments as well as off campus vendors like Baree Focus Fitness, Philadelphia Sport and Social Club and Devine Purpose Outreach and more will be in attendance with giveaways and information. FREE RAFFLE tickets will be given to all who attend and each person can earn up to 5 additional FREE RAFFLE tickets by participating in various activities. Raffle Items Include: free monthly passes to yoga studios and gyms, free fitness consultations with trainers, health baskets full of nutritional goodies and all kinds of SJU swag. You don't want to miss this event - mark your calendar now!
6:30pm-7:30pm: Run, Hawks, Run with Professor Coyne
Running is not only a fantastic workout for the body but has proven beneficial to the brain in a variety of ways as well. Learn about the ways running can improve mindfulness and what mindfulness can do for your holistic health. Hear from Professor Coyne and learn how to get involved by hearing from many of the running organizations on campus.

Come learn about the benefits of utilizing positive psychology for self and others. This interactive workshop will learn you intrigued and willing to try the strategies discribed in Positive Psychology.
5:30pm-7pm : Eat This, Not That
Villiger Hall Lounge
Join the Peer Educators in a healthy cooking demonstration and taste test. Simple swaps to the grocery list will be shared and methods for healthy cooking in the halls will be described. Free food included!

Hosted by the Career Development Center : Come ready to interview with your resume and meet with many local employers to learn about opportunities within your reach once you graduate.
5:30pm-7pm : Evensong and Pizza party
Hosted by Campus Ministry : Reflection by candlelight through song and stories followed by a pizza party. This event is recurring every Thursday in the Chapel.
