The Wall That Alcohol Built  Monday, October 22nd from 4-6pm by the Perch

*Come by and share your experiences with alcohol, both positive or negative, by writing it down and helping to build a wall with these experiences.  We hope this opens a discussion about the good and bad things that can come from alcohol and allow students to share their stories in a safe environment.  Check back throughout the week to see the wall grow to help raise awareness about the issues related to alcohol.

WADE for Warriors: How to Help a Soldier Monday, October 22nd from 530-630pm in the Perch

*Refreshments will be served from 530-6pm and the panel discussion with experts Lt. Col. Turnball, Dr. Joan Ryan and Dr. Jade Logan will begin at 6pm.

Black Out Day  Wednesday all day; dinner and reflection from 5pm-6pm in the Fishbowl

*Black Out Day raises awareness of the dangers of drunk driving, alcohol over-consumption & overdose and how to help a friend in need.  On this day, those participating will wear a black t-shirt and take a vow of silence between 9am-5pm to visualize to the rest of the campus what it would be like to lose that person to a death related to alcohol.

The silence is broken at 5pm with a chance for reflection and discussion open to the entire University community - which includes free dinner - in the FishBowl in Campion.

Over 100 people are already registered!  Register to participate here:   https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDlyd195T1BXWGJVTE01M1h2eE45U0E6MQ
