Examples of alcohol violations include, but are not limited to, underage possession and consumption; knowingly furnishing and transporting alcohol for minors and/or allowing minors to consume in a room/apartment/house; use of alcohol resulting in involuntary, erratic or abusive behavior; use of false identification to secure alcohol; unauthorized possession of a keg/beer ball; exceeding number of persons in a room/apartment or an exceptional amount of persons observed in an apartment/house off-campus when open container of alcohol is present; possession, service, consumption of grain alcohol; open container of alcohol in public area; possessing alcohol containers (empty or full). For an underage student, being in the presence of alcohol (being possessed or consumed) also constitutes a violation of the alcohol policy.
Alcohol Containers - For the health and well being of the community, alcohol containers (empty or full) are not permitted in rooms, suites, or apartments of persons under 21 years of age. Additionally, those 21 or older can not display alcohol containers as decorations.
