  • Do I have to purchase a laptop?

    Saint Joseph's University only requires students majoring in Psychology and students enrolled in the Haub School of Business to purchase a laptop.


    Students who are not majoring in Psychology or Business DO NOT have to purchase a laptop, but are open to take advantage of the aggressive pricing offered by our vendors. Please see the General Laptop Purchasing Page for more information.

  • Why should I purchase a laptop through Saint Joseph's University?

    Purchasing a laptop through Saint Joseph's University ensures that your laptop will be compatible with our extensive network. Every model that SJU suggests has been tested to work seamlessly with our student portal (MySJU), wireless network, and course specific programs.



    In addition, students who purchase their laptop through the SJU Laptop Program receive superior support (see below).

  • What type of support do I get from SJU?
    Saint Joseph's University has a fully operational Student Technology Center (STC) where students can bring their laptops for assistance. Support differs depending on whether the student purchased their laptop though the HSB Laptop Program.
