In 2002, the Haub School of Business partnered with Lenovo to facilitate the HSB Laptop Program. Since then, Lenovo has been providing superior support and technical assistance to all of our students.

In 2004, Lenovo took their support for the HSB Laptop Program to the next level, by offering our students two separate four-year warranties. The first warranty, 4-Year System Warranty, covers all internal hardware of the laptop. If any hardware malfunctions, the SJU Student Technology Center (STC), will have the laptop sent out for repair, and fixed, at no cost to the student.

The second warranty, 4-Year ThinkPad Protection, covers accidental damage. If the laptop is dropped, has a liquid spill, or has physical damage of any kind, the STC will have the laptop sent out for repair.

Regardless of which warranty is exercised, HSB students who have purchased their laptop through the SJU Laptop Program will receive a Loaner Laptop while their machine is being fixed - guaranteeing limited down time for four years.

All SJU students can purchase MS Office 2007 at a substantial discount from the SJU Bookstore or Journey ED.
