Information for Saint Joseph's Students at Ursinus College
Librarians at Saint Joseph's University and Ursinus College work closely together in meeting the information needs of our MBA students. As an SJU student at Ursinus, you are entitled to all user privileges at the Francis A. Drexel Library on Saint Joseph's Philadelphia campus.  In addition, off-campus access is available to a wide variety of electronic resources through the use of a proxy server.  In order to establish access, you will be required to enter your Saint Joseph's Information Technology campus network account User name and Password as part of the authentication process.  As an SJU student at Ursinus you may obtain an SJU Campus Network User name and Password in one of two ways:

    • If it is convenient for you to visit the SJU Campus, go to the Academic Technology Center - Room 129 in the Science Center, bring along your SJU ID, request an "SJU Campus Network account", and you will be given the account information right then and there.  It is wise to call before you come, to check on the lab's hours: (610) 660-2920.  (The Barbelin building is designated as 19 on our campus map.)
    • If it is not convenient for you to visit the SJU Campus, call the Information Technology Help Desk at (610) 660-2920, and explain that you are an SJU student at Ursinus and that you would like to arrange for an Information Technology network account over the phone.  The account cannot be given out until you sign an official agreement of use, so you will have to arrange to do that with them by fax or mail.

Access to our restricted resources from off campus is handled by a proxy server. Our software detects when a user is off campus and has requested a restricted resource and then triggers a login page. A user simply enters her/his SJU Username/Password and s/he will be allowed access into the resource. For questions, please speak to a Librarian at the SJU Information Desk.
