This database provides full-text articles from 600 scholarly journals, including more than 450 peer-reviewed journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Coverage of nursing and allied health is particularly strong.

MEDLINE is the database of the National Library of Medicine-- PubMed is Web interface to the database. Note that a small group of full-text journals are available through PubMed Central.

Open-access, online, peer-reviewed BMC journals that encompasses all the major biological and medical disciplines. In addition, the medical journals publish Case Reports, Debates and Study Protocols, and the biology journals publish Methodology articles. Title list by subject

Current, concise and clinically-relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new and investigational drugs. Drugs may be searched by their generic or brand names. Clinical Pharmacology is made up of Drug Monograph and Patient Education Records.

Comprehensive, timely collections of critical reviews written by leading scientists. Annual Reviews volumes are published each year for 30 focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Physical, and Social Sciences.

The National Cancer Institute provides this point of access for searching a cancer subset of PubMed.

From the Library and Information Services group of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Georgetown University. Citations direct researchers to journal and newspaper articles, books, book chapters, government reports, court decisions, bills, laws, and audiovisual materials.

Launched in September 2006 by infectious disease researchers at the Children's Hospital Informatics Program in Boston. Need to know where avian flu, salmonella, or dengue fever have been popping up? A quick view of HEALTHmap shows you where more than 50 diseases have been reported around the world, who is reporting, and how "hot" an outbreak is, based on the number of reports. Users can drill down by content and city or narrow by disease and read what has been reported in the last 30 days.

An annotated bibliography of prose, poetry, film, video and art which was developed to be a dynamic, accessible, comprehensive resource in MEDICAL HUMANITIES, for use in health/pre-health and liberal arts settings.

This online resource of medical information features peer-reviewed articles, medical news, and access to the MEDLINE archives. The service is free, but does require registration.

Includes over 250 A–Z entries focusing primarily on women pioneers and mentors in medicine.

The Science Citation Index Expanded™ from Web of Science is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the sciences. It fully indexes 5,900 major journals across 150 scientific disciplines—that's 2,100 more journals than the print and CD-ROM versions of the SCI. The Science Citation Index Expanded includes all cited references captured from indexed articles.

Euromonitor International's Global Market Information Database (GMID) provides intelligence on industries, countries, and consumers. Users can create custom statistical profiles of consumers and their households, and compare across countries. Statistics include causes of death, access to healthcare, smoking, obesity, and nutrition. The consumer lifestyle reports provide insight into how and why lifestyles differ from country to country including analysis of household profiles, income, education, eating and drinking habits, shopping habits, leisure and tourism. National Center for Health Statistics monthly publication of birth, death, marriage, and divorce provisional statistics. Four to six supplements per year report final data for previous year as well as A supplement final data on births and another for deaths each year and special topic analyses.

OMH was established in 1986 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
