Principal Certification

Elementary, middle and high school principals direct all aspects of school operations including the development of educational initiatives, academic polices, compliance with state and federal regulations, human resource and fiscal management.

Today’s K-12 educational environment requires strategic thinking, planning and effective action. Saint Joseph’s principal certification (K-12) program prepares future educational leaders by providing a strong theoretical foundation in educational administration and opportunities for practical application of that theory in real-life school situations.

The program may be combined with a M.S. in educational leadership and/or with curriculum supervisor and supervisor of special education (K-12) certification programs.
