Degree Requirements
The principal certification (K-12) program is a nine-course (27-credit) program developed in accordance with the general standards and specific program guidelines prescribed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Required courses include:
- Measurement and Evaluation of Instructional Outcomes (three credits)
- Administration, Organizational Culture, and Planned Change (three credits)
- Educational Leadership and Human Resource Development
- Law and American Education (three credits)
- Seminar in Administration of Curriculum and Instruction (three credits)
- Managing Financial and Material Resources (three credits)
- Fundamentals of Special Education Practices for School Leaders (three credits)
- Advanced Fieldwork I (two credits)
- Advanced Fieldwork II (two credits)
- Advanced Fieldwork III (two credits)
