Autism Studies Online Concentration – General Studies BLS
Saint Joseph’s autism concentration offered online prepares students to sit for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) examination to earn an important certification for professionals in the field. Autism studies coursework is enhanced with hands-on experience through practicum work to provide you with the tactical and applicable training to be successful in the field upon graduation.
The autism field is growing rapidly and requires future care providers to seek the proper training and credentials from their undergraduate coursework to give them a competitive edge. The online concentration in autism offers a rich curriculum in autism theories, techniques, treatment and therapies with the added flexibility and convenience of completing coursework when and where it fits best in your schedule.
The online autism concentration will consist of five (5) theoretical courses approved by the BACB (IHS 465, IHS 466, IHS 467, IHS 473 and IHS 474) and three practicum courses.
