“When I was thinking about college, I wanted to major in something that was math-related like accounting, finance, or even mathematics. But later, I found out about actuarial science from a friend, and I made it my major. I really liked how this field integrates mathematics with business dynamics. The courses in the program taught me to be competent in different fields of study in both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Haub School of Business. The analytical and quantitative skills I learned from those classes have certainly prepared me to tackle future challenges in the workplace.”
