“The art education major is an art major with an education minor, so this program encourages students to become artists who teach. A great aspect of the major is that students get teaching experience from the very beginning, as opposed to waiting until senior year. Working in a wide variety of learning environments made me a more versatile teacher who is able to address the individual needs of my students.”
