"I chose criminal justice as my major because I had always had an interest in the subject, especially having a father who has been in the NYPD for nearly 30 years. The professors make the program so great. I have gained a greater knowledge of the law, as well as people in general. The program has given me the tools and knowledge on how to properly conduct research and analyze data. Along with the professors, learning about the law is pretty cool in itself, and it doesn't hurt to know either."
