"A hallmark of the Latin American studies program is its study tours that bring students to countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Uruguay. These tours are classes in disciplines like theology, education, interdisciplinary health services, sociology, language and culture, and often satisfy requirements of the General Education Program. Many graduates go on to work or volunteer in the region, including five Fulbright Scholars in recent years."
