Welcome to The Office of Mission at Saint Joseph’s University

MorrisSince 1540 the mission of Jesuit education has thrived in a world of diverse cultures and global problems. Like all Catholic universities, Saint Joseph’s has always promoted free and open inquiry, imaginative thinking, aesthetic appreciation, and precise communication for service in a changing world. Christ and the Church continue to be sources of truth, guides, and inspirations for us as we engage in teaching, research, student development and service.

The Office of Mission is based on the belief that all members of our University community can make important contributions to the evolving Catholic and Jesuit identity of the University. As we continue to explore the many creative ways to maintain this time-honored Jesuit educational mission at Saint Joseph’s University, The Office of Mission assists member of the community—alumni, students, their parents, faculty and administrative staff— in deepening the lived tradition that has thrived in Philadelphia since 1851.

Welcome to the intellectual, cultural, and spiritual opportunities that the Saint Joseph's University offers through its many programs and departments.

Welcome,

Francis Morris, Ph.D.
