Celebrating Campaign Conclusion, President’s Tenure

What: Building dedications and a symbolic ribbon-cutting on the University’s Maguire Campus, tours of the campus and a black tie gala in the Hagan Arena will celebrate both the tenure of outgoing President Timothy R. Lannon, S.J., who is leaving next month to become president of Creighton University, as well as the successful conclusion of the University’s $150 million capital campaign.
Highlights include:
10:30 a.m.: Dedication and ribbon-cutting of Maguire Campus building
Location: Lawn outside Merion Hall, Maguire Campus
Details: Fr. Lannon will preside at the dedication of several buildings on the University’s Maguire Campus, including Merion Hall, the largest academic building on the Maguire Campus. A new statue of St. Ignatius, the founder of the Society of Jesus, will also be dedicated.
