PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 13, 2010) - Saint Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business is included in the Princeton Review’s 2011 edition of “The Best 300 Business Schools.”

As part of the 2011 edition, Princeton Review features two-page profiles of each school that outline academics, student life, admissions, selectivity and career placement. The editors describe the Haub School’s MBA as a “well-regarded program in the Philadelphia area that provides an ideal combination of academic quality, location and price.”

When the Princeton Review surveyed SJU students, respondents lauded the merits of the MBA program.  In addition to speaking to the value of a Jesuit-based MBA, students commented on faculty experience.

According to one student, “professors have a lot of experience in private industry; they are great at applying theory to practical, everyday situations and throughout the world.”

Another student commented on the accessibility of the University’s Career Services. “If you’re unsure of what you want to do after the MBA, Career Services has a great assessment system…Saint Joseph’s MBA graduates also benefit from tremendous alumni networking.”

Haub School Dean Joseph DiAngelo Jr., Ed.D. ’70 said the Princeton Review and other rankings would not be possible without the dynamic growth of the school’s MBA program. “Enrollment in our MBA program has increased significantly over recent years; we’ve just added an online format; and we’re making improvements to the curriculum,” he said. “These efforts are visible; we’re proud to be recognized for our achievements.”

The Haub School is an international AACSB-accredited institution in business and accounting offering programs at the bachelor's, master's and executive master's levels. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are included in the U.S.News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” 2011 edition. The Haub School has been recognized by the Aspen Institute as one of the Top 100 business schools in the world in its 2009-2010 edition of Beyond Grey Pinstripes for its leadership in integrating ethical issues into graduate business curricula. The school was recently named one of the nation's top business schools in the Princeton Review's “The Best 300 Business Schools” and recognized by Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for AACSB-accredited institutions, with the Gold Chapter Award.
