Although the disorder has been recognized since the 1940s, its causes and treatments remain a mystery, and it is just recently that it began getting widespread attention.

SJU Officially Opens Doors to DCCC

For over a decade, Saint Joseph's University and Delaware County Community College have enjoyed an informal partnership that has united both academic communities. During the fall 2007 semester, the institutions finalized an official agreement that now allows DCCC students to seamlessly transfer credits to SJU for select four-year degrees.

Gift From Alumnus to Support Library Learning Commons

A recent $7.5 million gift from alumnus John R. Post '60, and his wife, Maryanne, will dramatically reshape the academic hub of the Saint Joseph's University campus.
The gift is the centerpiece of what ultimately will be known as the John R. Post '60 Academic Center—which includes the construction of a new, three-story building, to be named the John and Maryanne Post Learning Commons, and the renovation of the existing Francis A. Drexel Library.

Saint Joseph's Names Gregory Geruson Vice President

In his new role, Geruson will lead Saint Joseph's through its recently launched $150 million capital campaign "With Faith and Strength to Dare."

The Cycle Of Daylight On Urban Landscapes

PHILADELPHIA (December 19, 2007) - Paintings of local urban towns open the first exhibit of 2008 at Saint Joseph's University Gallery, Jan. 14 – Feb. 13. Titled Recent Paintings, the work of renowned painter Babette Martino features works of oil on panel. This exhibit marks the Gallery's sole display of paintings for the 07-08 season. A reception for the artist will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 6-8 p.m.
