Part-Time M.B.A. Ranked No. 1 in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (May 4, 2009) – Saint Joseph’s University’s Erivan K. Haub School of Business (HSB) was recognized by U.S.News & World Report as having the No. 1 part-time M.B.A. program in Pennsylvania. The AACSB-accredited program was ranked No. 23 nationally. This is the fifth time in seven years the Haub School's professional (part-time) M.B.A. program has been ranked by U.S.News & World Report's survey as one of the top 25 part-time programs in the nation.

HSB Dean Joseph DiAngelo, Jr. Ed.D. ’70, is proud to be recognized once again by U.S.News for the school’s professional M.B.A. program. "Our success in the rankings is a testament to the academic opportunities we provide, and the reputation of our highly skilled faculty, students and alumni," said DiAngelo.

The University's professional M.B.A. distinguishes itself with its ethics-based curriculum and focus on developing leaders with strong analytical skills, technical competence and social responsibility.

With more than 90 percent of Saint Joseph’s M.B.A. students pursuing the degree on a part-time basis, the program was recognized for its flexibility and distinctive format which provides a convenient alternative to traditional mid-week classes. The professional M.B.A. is offered Monday through Thursday evenings, as well as on Saturday with either full day or morning classes. The degree can also be pursued either full-time or part-time at the University's main campus in Philadelphia or at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa.

The Erivan K. Haub School of Business (HSB) is an international AACSB-accredited institution in business and accounting offering programs at the bachelor's, master's and executive master's levels. The school was named one of the nation's top business schools in the Princeton Review's “The Best 296 Business Schools” and is recognized by Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for AACSB-accredited institutions, as having an Outstanding Chapter.
