PHILADELPHIA (August 27, 2009) – On Saturday, Aug. 29, Saint Joseph’s University will welcome its newest residents into campus housing – the class of 2013.
Saint Joseph’s incoming class, which is made up of students born around 1991, is a diverse group of young adults representing 25 states and seven countries.
These students have never known a world where a web browser didn’t exist. Which is why it’s appropriate that the Office of Student Success has established a blog to help the class of 2013 transition to University life.
The freshman students will unload their belongings, electronics and Ugg boots between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, into the following dormitories: LaFarge and Sourin (Campion parking lot), and McShain (Lapsley Lane/McShain parking lot).
Freshman students moving into St. Mary’s and St. Albert’s (Lapsley Lane/McShain parking lot) are scheduled to move in between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.; students moving into Xavier (Lapsley Lane parking lot) are scheduled to move in between 10 a.m. and noon.
At 9 a.m., in the Campion parking lot, University President Timothy R. Lannon, S.J., will distribute water to the University’s newest Hawks and welcome their families to the University.
For more information about move-in dates and times, visit Student Life's Move-in Day page.
