Joe Lunardi '82

Joe Lunardi is the chief marketing officer for Saint Joseph's University. He oversees institutional branding and identity standards, image and program advertising, merchandising, web content, and other integrated communications initiatives. He is a founding member of the national branding task force for the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) and a member of the AJCU communications executive committee.
A 1982 graduate of Saint Joseph's, Lunardi returned to his alma mater in 1987 as director of media relations. He has also served as director of external relations, director of university communications, and assistant vice president for university communications. He makes dozens of public appearances on behalf of the University each year and was named to his current, newly-created post in August 2006.
Away from Saint Joseph's, Lunardi is the nationally-known "bracketologist" for ESPN. His popular NCAA Tournament projections generate over 10 million hits per year to ESPN.com. His work for ESPN and Saint Joseph's, including his positioning of the University during SJU's perfect men's basketball season (2003-04), has been profiled in the New York Times, Washington Post, and USA Today along with The Today Show (NBC), Good Morning America (ABC), and the CBS Evening News.
Lunardi and his wife, Pam, a 1984 Saint Joseph's graduate, reside in Drexel Hill, PA, with their daughters, Emily (13) and Elizabeth (9).
Harriet K. Goodheart

Harriet Goodheart is responsible for providing strategic communications counsel at all levels, advancing the University’s mission to both internal and external constituencies, and serving as the University’s spokesperson. She is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Office of University Communications.
A member of a number of professional organizations, Goodheart earned her master’s degree from Temple University and her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan. During her tenure at Temple, she was instrumental in developing an online newsroom, securing national media placements for University research and initiatives, and counseling senior administration during times of crisis.

Kelly Welsh is the lead writer for the College of Arts and Sciences and is the primary publications officer, acting as editor of the weekly Hawkeye employee newsletter, CA&S Today magazine, and the news section of Saint Joseph's University Magazine. Kelly earned her B.A. in communications from West Chester University in 2000 and a masters degree in writing studies from Saint Joseph's in 2005.

Jeffrey Martin is the webmaster for the Office of University Communications and content editor of many sites within http://www.sju.edu. Jeff serves as editor of the Saint Joseph's University Events Calendar. His beats include math and computer science, campus ministry, and new media and technology. Jeffrey earned a bachelors degree in English from Saint Joseph's in 2004 and a masters degree in writing studies in 2005.

After earning her B.A. from Truman State University in Kirskville, Mo. in 2005, Sarah moved to Philadelphia and earned her M.A. in Writing Studies from Saint Joseph's in 2008. She is responsible for the day-to-day clerical operations in University Communications and covers a number of beats, including English, the classics, and University College. Sarah is also the editor of the alum notes section of SJU Magazine.
