Pi Kappa Phi is a national collegiate fraternity with over 190 chapters. Pi Kapp was founded on December 10, 1904 at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. The seven founding fathers were Andrew Alexander Kroeg Jr., Simon Fogarty Jr., Lawrence Harry Mixson, Anthony Pelzer Wagener, Thomas F. Mosimann, Theodore Barnwell Kelley and James Fogarty. Pi Kapps everywhere still revere these men and their ideals of brother hood, which are embodied in our Student Creed. In 1983, 30 men from St. Joseph's University, decided to bring these ideals of brotherhood to campus. Epsilon Tau was founded on December 10,1983 at Saint Joseph's University, which is located on the border of the western suburbs in Philadelphia. St. Joe's continues the Jesuit tradition of educational excellence. Epsilon Tau is the second oldest Greek chapter at St. Joe's. |
