PHILADELPHIA (June 12, 2012) – For painter Laura Watt, pattern and color are old strategies of knowledge, calling viewers back to the Arabic tiles, Buddhist mandalas, Amish quilts and Scottish tartans of history. From Thursday, June 28 to Friday, Aug. 3, a collection of her work, titled “Depth of Illusion,” will be on display in Saint Joseph’s University Gallery.

<p>APRIL 11, 2012 (PHILADELPHIA) – “Eleven on the Thirteenth,” the 2012 Saint Joseph’s University Senior Art Thesis Exhibition, will open on Friday, April 13, marking the 13th year of the annual showcase. Held in the new gallery on the second floor of Merion Hall on the James J. Maguire ’58 Campus, this year’s exhibition features the collected works of 11 student-artists working with pastels, ceramics, painting and photography.
SJU Theater Company to Present Mark Twain's "Is He Dead?"

<p>The SJU Theatre Company will be the first college or professional group in Philadelphia to present Is He Dead?, a comedy recently rediscovered from the archives of legendary American humorist Mark Twain. The show runs in Bluett Theatre for only one week, Wednesday, April 18 through Sunday April 22.</p>
SJU Theater Company to Present 'Miss Saigon'

<p>The Saint Joseph’s University Theatre Company is turning up the heat this winter with a performance of the musical <em style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; ">Miss Saigon</em>. The show opens Thursday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. in Bluett Theatre, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 26.</p>
