Petalorhynchus beargulchensis
Known from a single median tooth that is presumed to be a lower
(mandibular) tooth. Other teeth of this form have not been found in the
Bear Gulch Limestone. The type species of the genus is Petalorhynchus
psittacinus McCoy, from the British Islands. The Bear Gulch tooth,
whose generic identification is tentative, differs in having a cleft,
denticulated crown. The scale is in mm.
