Wendyichthys skullWendyichthys is a member of the actinopterygian order Rhadinichthyiformes. Rhadinichthyids can be characterized by the key-hole shaped notch in the snout that is framed by the rostro-postrostral and antorbital bones. The function of this notch is uncertain.
