Ice Cream Social for All International Relations Majors. Wednesday, September 5 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. LaFarge Lounge. This ice cream social is a great way to meet faculty and other International Relations students. Come, enjoy, eat and socialize!
Washington, DC Trip. Friday, September 7. This all-day trip will provide the opportunity to tour the Capitol Building and meet SJU alums and friends of SJU at the Washington Center during a catered reception to close the day. Bus departs from Sourin at 7:00 a.m.
Political Science/International Relations Department Orientation. Thursday, September 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. LaFarge Lounge. Want to know the ins and outs of the Political Science Department? This orientation will tell you—and give you a map to chart your course through your next four years in the Department.
Constitution Day Event. September 17. More details forthcoming.
SJU Law Alums Present: Careers in Law. Thursday, September 27. Campion Forum Theatre. 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. This event will allow prospective law students (current SJU students) to learn about law careers and to see the path some of the University's alums have taken from Hawk Hill to various careers in law.
Law School Preparation. Tuesday, October 9 at 4:00 p.m. LaFarge Lounge. It may sound soon to be thinking of preparation for law school, but effective preparation begins the freshman year. Dr. Graham Lee, University pre-law Advisor, will offer valuable insights on what to do now to prepare for law school.
