Are you unsure about what major to choose?  Don't worry - you are not alone!  Keep in mind, approximately 30% of the freshman class and 15% of the sophomore class are undeclared with regard to major. If you are unsure where to start or how to decide which major to choose, please use the resources below to help you with your decision making process.

 checkmark Visit the Haub School of Business Advising CenterThe Haub School of Business Advising Center was established to enhance the undergraduate student advising experience in the Haub School of Business. The Center's staff are professional, student-focused, friendly individuals who assist students with general advising questions, provide guidance and support during the transition to college, and connect them with the opportunities/resources necessary for success.

 checkmark Visit the Career Development CenterThe Career Development Center offers a variety of services to assist students of all majors and class years.  Schedule an appointment today to address all aspects of your career development including choosing a major, career changing, networking, resume writing, cover letter writing, interviewing, finding internships, job searching, and applying to graduate school.

 checkmark Attend a Workshop:  Need to choose a major or are you interested in changing to something new?  Attend the Choosing or Changing Your Major Workshop.  This interactive workshop is designed to assist you finding the right major for you!  And lunch is included!  Visit the upcoming events section of the Career Development Center's Web site for upcoming workshops and events.

 checkmark Explore Interests and Potential Career Paths:  Meet with a Career Counselor to discuss your major, complete an assessment and explore various career options.  To get this process started, call the Career Development Center at 610.660.3100 to schedule a convenient appointment time.

 checkmark Complete a Self-Assesment Inventory:  Complete one of three self assessment inventories offered by the Career Development Center.  Contact the Career Development Center to take an assessment, 610.660.3100.  Results are then interpreted and discussed during an appointment with a staff member.

 checkmark Research Possible Career Options:  The Career Development Center offers many resources to help you research career fields, industries, occupations and employers.  These include the Vault Online Career Library (email careerhelp@sju.edu for the password); the Career Related Links section of our Web site; and our print library which is located in our office at 101 Overbrook Avenue.
