Undergraduate full time day students who have work study awards as part of their financial aid package can receive campus work study assignments.
Generally there are more students interested in work study assignments than there are positions. Students awarded work study as part of their financial aid package are not guaranteed a work study position or a certain number of hours.

Procedure
In order to take advantage of the Federal Work Study program, follow the steps listed below:
- Visit the Office of Financial Assistance to pick up your Work Study Assignment Form, any day from 9am - 11am and 2pm - 4pm.
- First time work study students visit the office in which you are interested in working.
- Once you have arranged for a position, your supervisor will complete your Federal Work Study Assignment Form.
- Submit the signed form to the Human Resources Office during the designated hours, which are Monday and Wednesday 2pm - 5pm and Tuesday and Thursday 9am - 12 noon.
- If you have never worked before at Saint Joseph´s University, you must complete additional forms that are available in Human Resources.
- It is required that you bring with you form of ID. For a list of acceptable documents please click here.
You must complete these steps before starting employment. Failure to follow this procedure can cause the cancellation of the work study award.
