This extensive collection of scholarly essays is composed of the digital versions of the print Cambridge Companion volumes in Literature, Classics, Philosophy, Religion and Culture.  Over 280 volumes and over 2,800 scholarly essays are included, freely searchable, and available full-text in PDF format within the database.  The scope of the volumes ranges from a Companion devoted to Old English Literature to one discussing only a particular writer, such as Karl Marx or Michel Foucault.
