Our ILLiad software improves the ILL experience by allowing end users to:

  • directly request, track, and electronically retrieve requested articles
  • receive timely email notifications that let users know when books are available for pickup, or when they can log on to the ILLiad site and retrieve their article electronically
  • view a running history of all requests sent.

Have a citation to an article that we don’t own but that you’d like to access? Submit a request using ILLiad.

Request a Book

You may request a book by using either our ILLiad or E-ZBorrow systems.
Turn-around times for both systems are comparable.

Renewal of ILL Books

Renewal policies depend on the lending library.  To renew books that are ordered via:

  • E-ZBorrow -- Contact a staff person at the Service Desk:  610-660-1900.
  • ILLiad -- Log onto ILLiad and select the book that you want to renew.  Then select "View/Renew Checked Out Items."  
    • If renewal requests are allowed, “Request Renewal” will display (in Red) at the top of the request record in your ILLiad account.
    • Renewal requests may be submitted no more than 7 days prior to the due date. 
    • Renewal and new due date will be confirmed by e-mail

Check to see if the Library provides access to your article:

If the article is not available electronically or in print/microform, you may submit an Interlibrary Loan(ILL) request using our or ILL system, ILLiad :

Note: Requesting an Interlibrary Loan within the "Findit @ SJU!" service, automatically directs the request to the ILLiad system.





 Request a Book or other material
  (DVD, audio books, dissertation, etc.)

When a book is not owned or available at Drexel Library or Campbell Library, it is usually possible to obtain it from another library or source through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

What you should know before ordering:

  • First, please check The Library Catalog to determine that the book is not already available at our Library.
  • Since books are transported by mail, allow at least a week, although some books may come in more quickly.
  • There is no charge for this service unless the book is overdue, damaged, or lost.
  • Users will be notified when a book arrives and must come to the front Service Desk with their valid sju ID to pick up their book.
