Interlibrary Loan   

Saint Joseph's University uses two separate resource-sharing systems for Interlibrary Loan services:

  • ILLiad™ for books and articles
  • E-ZBorrow for books only
  • Turnaround time for ILLiad™ andE-ZBorrow are comparable.

    NOTE:
    ILLiad ™, our Interlibrary Loan software, allows the Library to improve service to end users by giving them the ability to initiate and track their ILL requests every step of the way through a simple Web interface. 

    Since the accounts are only accessible under a user's SJU Username/Password, it will be problematic for Graduate Assistants to place ILL requests on the behalf of faculty.  If faculty find that their Graduate Assistants need to be able to place ILL requests, please contact:

Other Information for Faculty

Examination (Blue) Books

Exam books are available in the Director's Office Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Faculty members or the departmental administrative assistants are required to obtain the booklets in person.

Other distribution points on campus are Campbell Library and the College of Professional and Liberal Studies.
Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC)

FAC meets each semester to advise the Library on issues of planning, budget allocation, service and resource development and promotion. For more information, please contact Evelyn Minick.

Photocopying

Faculty and/or their graduate assistants may request a 'copy card' at the Service Desk that allows a discounted charge back to departments. The card may be used for photocopying, printing from microfiche/microfilm, and printing from our computer workstation.
