The Training & Organizational Development Office is designed to assist you in a number of ways to help you and your department reach your highest potential. Below are programs to help you and your team grow and learn:
SJU Leadership Development Program
The Leadership Development Program is an 18-month program designed to cultivate leadership skills among Saint Joseph's employees. Participants will dialogue with a group about leadership issues, learn about University dynamics and explore personal characteristics regarding leadership styles. SJU Management Training Program
The SJU Management Training Program is designed to educate employees on key management topics related to our mission, diversity, planning and budgeting, employee performance, legal issues and managing change. Individuals who complete a series of six workshops in two years will receive the certificate of participation. Learn more about this program!
Campus Workshop Series for Faculty & Staff
Training topics range from Understanding Jesuit History & Values and Managing Conflict at Work to Business Communications and Recharging Your Spiritual Battery. Seminars are designed to introduce you to new skills and techniques that will actually make doing your work easier or faster and your personal time more enjoyable. Custom Designed Programs
Sessions can be custom-designed to meet the learning needs of your department or working group. Topics include but are not limited to: Customer Service, Team Building, Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for Improved Teamwork, Creative Problem Solving, Communication, Time Management and Stress Management. Information Technology Training Workshops
