Welcome to the Office of Student Success!

Saint Joseph's University and the Office of Student Success are dedicated to cura personalis, the fullest development of the individual student's potential both inside and outside the classroom.

By supporting students as they face obstacles associated with college life, the Office of Student Success assists students to make connections with campus resources and provides coaching on strategies for having a positive experience at SJU.

Every SJU student is fully capable of earning a degree from Saint Joseph's University. At times, students experience difficulties: academic, emotional, health-related, family emergencies, and disciplinary actions, and there are many people on campus that can help.

Dr. Kim Allen-Stuck is the Director of Student Success. Kim has worked at Saint Joseph's for eight years and she developed the Office of Student Success in 2007. She is committed to helping students to make the most of their college experience. During individual meetings Kim presents students with options so that the student can decide how to proceed. Sometimes a short-term change may be the long-term solution to earning a baccalaureate degree.
