Registering For Services

Registering with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities may entitle the student to reasonable academic adjustments and support services. Once a student self-identifies and provides appropriate documentation, they should meet with the Coordinator at the beginning of the semester to discuss any reasonable academic adjustments or accommodations they may need for the current semester. Students may be registered with the office but also choose not to utilize services. Thus, it is the student’s responsibility to notify the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities of any requests for reasonable academic adjustments. St. Joseph’s University is not responsible for providing services for students who do not disclose a disability or request services in a timely manner. Retroactive accommodations will not be made.
