Sorority Recruitment Rules

• A women is eligible to participate in recruitment if she has completed 12 credit hours, and has a minimum of 2.5 GPA. We do not 'round up' to the nearest GPA, it must be a 2.5.

• A women who has never been an initiated member of an existing National Panhellenic Council sorority shall not be eligible for membership in another National Panhellenic Council sorority.

• A signed Preference card is binding. If the potential new member receives a bid under the preference system, she is ineligible to be pledged to any other national sorority on the same campus for one calendar year.

• If the rushee does not receive a bid under the preference system, she is eligible for Continuous Open Recruitment.

 

Important Details to Know about Sorority Formal Recruitment 2007

Sorority Formal Recruitment will be held on the following days:

January 26, 27, 30 – February 1 & 2

 

To participate in sorority formal recruitment, an application process is necesary. applications will be available in the Student Leadership and Activities office on the 3rd floor of Campion. In addition, sorosity women will staff several information tables in Cafeteria and freshmen dorms in January.

Your Application and $30 non-refundable deposit is due by Tuesday, January 22 at 5:00 p.m.
