Factors in Sanctioning
What Factors are Considered in Sanctioning?
If the Hearing Officer, PRB, or CSB determines that there was a violation of the Community Standards, a sanction(s) shall be imposed. In addition to the egregiousness of the violation itself, the following shall be considered in determining sanctions: motivation; present attitude; past record, both positive and negative; the severity of the damage, injury, harm, or disruption, or the potential for such; honesty; cooperation; willingness to make amends; and compliance with previous sanctions.
