Discipline Records Retention

What is the Policy on Retention of Discipline Records?
Community Standards violations and sanctions shall not be made part of the student’s permanent academic record, but shall become part of the student’s educational record. Undergraduate discipline records are kept for five years after a student has graduated/left the University and are maintained and stored in the Office of Student Life. Records are generally confidential except in the case of a subpoena, student consent (including background checks), or as noted in record disclosure.
