SJU’s goal is to have the same number of resident freshman as we have freshman beds available. Despite our best efforts to meet this goal, sometimes the numbers do not match up. When the number of incoming freshmen exceeds the number of beds, we still need to house everyone, so one temporary measure we take is to place a some of the incoming freshmen class into 'Extended Housing".
