Basketball (Men's)

Club basketball is designed for players who competed in high school and wish to continue playing at a competitive level.  While there is no structured league we are a part of, we play a very competitive schedule.  Games include local division 3 school, community colleges, prep schools, games vs Penn at the Palestra, and Navy at the Naval Academy.  Tryouts will begin shortly after fall break.  Please check your MySJU for further details.  If you have any questions, contact club President Matt Greenfield at mg399947@sju.edu

Basketball (Women's)

Women’s Club Basketball has become an established, successful program on the campus of St. Joe’s. Leading into the fourth semester, the team is officially a member of the East Coast Women’s Club Basketball League.  Club Tournaments in the league take place during the fall semester with competition from prominent east coast schools such as Penn State, Georgetown, James Madison and University of Delaware with the championship games played at the University of Maryland.  During the fall semester, practice is typically twice a week with tournaments on various weekends.  Heading into the spring semester more individual games are played.  The team is competitive and disciplined but has fun bonding together on and off the court.  We are looking for committed girls who have basketball experience and the desire to play to win.  For more information please contact the club president, Rebecca Naab at sjuwomensclubbball@gmail.com.

The SJU Club Field Hockey team is a great way to get involved on campus and continue (or start) playing a wonderful sport. We are a competitive team but tend to focus more on having a good time while playing. If you are looking for a chance to play field hockey without the often stressing demands of a Varsity, D1 team, Club may for you. The SJU golf club is for students who have played in the past who are looking to play recreationally in college. This is the second year as an organized club team so many aspects of the club are still in the works.  Practice is on your own time, but it is required that members go and play once a week. There are meetings throughout the semester that help to organize and advance the team. The club is looking for members who have the ambition and dedication to play on a school team.  In the spring of 2009, the golf club became co-ed and now welcomes both men and women interested in pursuing the lifetime sport. Soccer (Women's)

Saint Joseph's University Women's Club soccer team is a way for students to play competitive soccer without the demands of a Division I team.  The team plays to learn more about the sport, improve skills, and of course have a good time. Recently turnout each season has been extremely popular, causing the team to be more competive and skillful than ever before.

The Women's Club Soccer team was established in the Spring of 2006 and has now completed 6 seasons, playing outdoor in both the fall and spring as well as on an indoor league during the winter. They play various schools in the area, such as UPenn, Villanova, Drexel, and West Chester University and numerous others. This promises to be the best semester yet.
