Wondering how to pay for college? University College and the Saint Joseph’s University Office of Financial Assistance staff are dedicated to helping you find financial solutions that will enable you to attain a quality, private education at a reasonable cost. 

The majority of Saint Joseph's students receive federal financial assistance. In the 2006-2007 academic year, approximately 85 percent of the University's student body received assistance in the form of merit scholarships, grants, and loans, either singly or in combination.

Students who wish to be considered for federal or state financial assistance should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the academic year in which they enroll. Residents from states other than Pennsylvania should file the FAFSA and the proper state grant application from the education assistance agency of their resident state. Students are responsible for completing the FAFSA for each academic year they are enrolled.  When completing the FAFSA, please use Saint Joseph’s University school code 003367.

Saint Joseph’s University requires that two forms be completed to apply for financial assistance:
