B.S. ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP

Our Accelerated Degree Programs allow you to complete your college degree in a variety of intensive formats -- two seven week modules in Fall and Spring, a two week January Intersession, and two six week Summer Sessions.  Step-in, step-out flexibility, outstanding skilled faculty and credit for work and life experience are features that will meet your needs as an adult learner.

B.S. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (course requirements)
This new degree completion program will enable University College students to earn a Bachelor's in Business Administration in an accelerated format. Students enrolling in this program who have earned an Associate Degree or start with a minimum of 60 transferable credits will be able to earn a Bachelor's Degree in just 2 years.

Courses are offered in:

  • 8 week terms on Saturday morning and afternoon during the Fall and Spring Semesters.
  • 2 six-week Summer Sessions on weekday evenings

B.A. ENGLISH/PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIONS
( course requirements )

Career management research tells us that today's employers want and need people trained effectively in the art of written and oral communication.  University College's B.A. in English/Professional Communications is a versatile, marketable major that is designed to meet your educational and professional goals.  The program's 9 general electives allow you to design a minor, such as in Business, or enhance transferability of your previously earned credits.  Please see course requirements in the University College Catalog, page 50 and the Communications course descriptions on pages 106-108 in the University College Catalog .

B.S. HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (course requirements)

Due to changing external pressures, demographics, cost concerns, technology, and consumer demand... volatility and change in healthcare will prevail!

Courses in our program are taught by experienced healthcare practitioners who integrate theory and practice to allow you to:

  • increase your marketability and opportunities in the volatile and ever-changing healthcare field.

  • increase your knowledge and skills for maximum application immediately.

  • integrate and optimize "best practices" for a more fulfilling and challenging career.

Coursework in the Health Administration major culminates in a professional internship in health care.  Please see course requirements in the University College Catalog, page 60 and the Health Administration course descriptions on pages 120-121 in the University College Catalog.

The Organizational Development and Leadership Program is designed to meet a growing need within the work environment to enhance an understanding of people, organizations and markets.  

Program courses are taught by experienced practitioners who integrate organizational development and leadership theory and practice that allow you to:

  • understand the critical relationship between individuals and organizations;

  • understand and work toward solving organizational problems;

  • apply vital knowledge and practical skills to your work immediately;
